If you’re like me, and neither smoke in the house nor have a “man cave,” the weather is eventually going to force you to find a place to smoke. Fortunately, there are several in San Antonio, exempt from the 2011 law banning smoking in public places.
Size Does Matter: Redland Cigar

Redland Cigar Company might be a bit hard to find, but it’s 1604 & 281 location is worth finding. It has the largest smoking lounge in Texas at 2200 sq. ft. A good selection of cigars and a friendly staff make this place another favorite. Access to the smoking room either requires purchase of a cigar or an annual membership.
The lounge is housed with leather chairs, big TV’s, shuffle board, and game tables. Redland is also known for special events, Thursday movies, weekend cookouts as well as their support of Cigars for Warriors.

Veteran cigar smokers: Mam’s Cigar
Universal City 107 E Wright Blvd
If you live near Randolph Air Base, MAM’S is the perfect place for you to smoke. It’s located just a few blocks from the gate of the base off of Pat Booker Road. Marshall and his crew will make you feel quite welcome, and they do a good job of keeping a respectable stock of cigars in the humidor.
The large, comfortable lounge is available with cigar purchase.
Take a good look at the amazing spray-painted mural of the faces of famous cigar smokers and check out the military, police and firefighter discount.

A Place with History: Finck’s Cigar
The original Finck factory, opened in the 1880’s on the south-side. It recently quit producing cigars and is used for distribution. For five generations, the Finck’s family has manufactured and sold fine cigars.
They sell cigars from $1-$30 including popular brands and their private Finck’s label. Each of their three stores has over 1,200 square feet of humidor space, lounges and cigar knowledge. Their locations specialize in pipe tobaccos and snuff as well as cigars
The locations include leather-seated public and private smoking lounges inside and outdoor decks on Broadway and West Avenue. Different locations include other amenities like free wifi and free coffee.
Midtown

Fink’s newest location but well established. Close to Brackenridge Park. Mon–Thu: 10–8 | Fri & Sat: 10–9 Sun: 12–6
Central
6100 West Avenue
Built in an old house with a surprisingly large humidor space, pipe room and new smoking patio. Mon–Sat: 8– 7 | Closed Sun.
Northwest
12950 Bandera Road
The only cigar store to serve the far west side with nice lounges and a good selection.

A Cigar Institution: Club Humidor
In the late 1980’s, Retired Lt. Col Ralph Rumbo bought a cigar and pipe shop and over the years his family expanded it to several locations. Club Humidor has the flagship store on San Pedro Avenue, a location at the Shops at Stone Oak, a very nice store at Huebner and Vance Jackson, and the store on Thousand Oaks. Now run by Keith and Tiffany Rumbo, the Humidor is a great example of a brick-and-mortar cigar store. 
Club Humidor is involved with community fundraisers through Cigars and Pars Golf Tournament and Cigars and Cars classic car show.
Each location has a well stocked humidor with a variety of brands and multiple places to smoke for members as well as the casual smoker.
7074 San Pedro Ave: has the Avo and Winston Churchill lounges. The latter designed as an exact replica of Winston Churchill’s Library. Mon–Sat: 8:30-8 | Sun: 11–5
22806 US HWY 281 N Ste 101 has good selection of high end smokes with lobby and outdoor smoking spaces. Mon–Sat: 10–9 | Sun: 12–6
12003 Huebner hosts the members only Davidoff lounge (one of only 2 in the country). The exclusive lounge features custom made leather chairs, complimentary beverages, wi-fi, private locker space and High-definition, flat screen TV. The Montecristo lounge for everyone is in the rear of the store features leather chairs and a high-def flat screen and this location features an outdoor deck if you prefer to smoke outside when the weather permits.
